 Service Coordinator Full-Time – Providing supportive counseling to adults who have a psychiatric diagnosis and who live in independent apartments in the Schenectady community.  Duties include teaching of daily living skills including medication management and coping skills, crisis intervention and prevention, and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for our clients to become independent.  Qualifications include college classes in human services, BA preferred; 6 months-1year experience in human services preferred; valid and insurable driver’s license. 40 hours per week; $15.21/hour; $31,636/annual equivalent. Schedule-Monday-Friday, day time hours.  On-Call for Client Emergencies on a rotating bases for 1 week.

 

Residence Counselor–Full Time – Provide supportive counseling to adults with a psychiatric diagnosis living in a group home setting.  Duties include teaching of daily living skills including medication management and coping skills, crisis intervention and prevention, and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for our clients to become independent.  Qualifications include college classes in human services, BA preferred; demonstrated ability in helping others, valid and insurable driver’s license.  $14.00/hour; $29,120/annual equivalent.

Relief Counselor – Per Diem/Part Time – Substitute (per diem) counselors needed to providing supportive counseling in a group home setting, teaching of daily living skills including medication management, crisis intervention and prevention, and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for adults with a mental illness. Qualifications include college classes in human services preferred, demonstrated experience helping others, valid and insurable driver’s license. $13.08/hour.
