Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Part Time (14 Hours Per Week) – The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a member of the ACT Team, a community based multidisciplinary treatment team, and in conjunction with the Program Director and Psychiatrist, provides oversight of the delivery of clinical services.  The Nurse Practitioner has three main functions: Provision of psychiatric assessment and treatment utilizing a client centered approach while taking into consideration complex medical issues; sharing knowledge of psychiatric illness and treatment, with the goal of educating and guiding the multidisciplinary team; and oversight of the development, maintenance, and supervision of medication administration.  Minimum qualification include: NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is licensed to practice medicine in the state in which the program is operating. Board certification is preferred.  Has strong clinical skills and experience providing treatment to persons with serious mental illness; a minimum of three years of experience in psychiatry is required.  Must have a strong commitment to the rights and ability of each person with a mental illness to make own decisions and choose, live in the community, work, and have access to continuous support and services to enhance wellness. This positon will be community based therefore a valid and insurable driver’s license is required.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Please state salary requirement in cover letter.

Service Coordinator Full-Time – Providing supportive counseling to adults who have a psychiatric diagnosis and who live in independent apartments in the Schenectady community.  Duties include teaching of daily living skills including medication management and coping skills, crisis intervention and prevention, and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for our clients to become independent.  Qualifications include college classes in human services, BA preferred; 6 months-1year experience in human services preferred; valid and insurable driver’s license. 40 hours per week; $14.87/hour; $30,929/annual equivalent. Schedule-Monday-Friday, day time hours.  On-Call for Client Emergencies on a rotating 1 week bases (once every 3 months).

Residence Counselor–Full Time – Provide supportive counseling to adults with a psychiatric diagnosis living in a group home setting.  Duties include teaching of daily living skills including medication management and coping skills, crisis intervention and prevention, and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for our clients to become independent.  Qualifications include college classes in human services, BA preferred; demonstrated ability in helping others, valid and insurable driver’s license.  $13.69/hour; $28,475.20/annual equivalent.

Monday – Off

Tuesday – Off

Wednesday – 2:00pm-11:00pm

Thursday – 11:00am-7:00pm

Friday – 11:00am-7:00pm

Saturday – 11:00am-5:00pm

Sunday – 8:00am-5:00pm
